LSU gymnast Haleigh Bryant continues to add to her impressive collection of awards, with the latest being the 2024

Honda Sport Award for gymnastics. This prestigious award, presented to the top female athlete in 12 NCAA sports

for the past 48 years, places Bryant among the finalists for the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the 2024 Honda Cup, set to be awarded in June.

Bryant’s achievement in gymnastics was recognized alongside finalists including Jordan Bowers from Oklahoma, Jade Carey from Oregon State, and Leanne Wong from Florida.

In response to Bryant’s accomplishment, LSU head coach Jay Clark expressed pride in her leadership and exemplary performance, stating, “It’s richly deserved.”

Following her pivotal role in leading LSU to a national championship this spring, Bryant announced her decision to

return to LSU for the 2025 season, opting to utilize her fifth year of eligibility. Alongside contributing to the team’s

success, Bryant claimed individual accolades including the all-around national title and SEC Gymnast of The Year.
