James Ester and Rodney were added by the Steelers as pass rushers on the other side of the ball.
The Packers are still bringing in rookies to their roster even after departing this past weekend with one of the biggest draft classes in the league. The group declared their signing of eight undrafted free agents:
Bowden, Peter LS (Wisconsin)
Northern Illinois’ James Ester, DL
Gofort, LB (Washington) Ralen
Howard Jarveon, RB (Alcorn State)
Jennings, Donovan, OL (South Florida)
Trente Jones (Old Line)
Rodney Mathews (Delaware) and Messiah Swinson (Teach) are both from Ohio.

Donovan Jennings, an offensive lineman from South Florida, received a sizable pay day to sign with the Packers. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston, the youngster received a $10,000 signing bonus and a $100,000 guaranteed salary in order to succeed with Green Bay. Wilson points out that the signing bonus is greater than any that the team will award in 2023, and the Packers did not promise any money to any of their undrafted free agents during the previous offseason.
The squad signed Messiah Swinson of Arizona State to their offensive lineup. The tight end had 15 receptions in 2022, his first season in Arizona; however, he only had six receptions in 2023.                                  James Ester and Rodney were added by the Steelers as pass rushers on the other side of the ball.
