Her shot range and ballhandling are keys to manipulating defenses to get teammates open looks. I think that translates, too. It wouldn’t shock me if she averaged around eight assists per game her rookie year.”

Even guards who come into the WNBA with a strong reputation for defense tend to need time to adjust to all the actions they must defend against and the speed, strength and skill of opponents.
