The Golden State Warriors are defeated by the New York Knicks, 119–11. On national television, Deuce McBride demonstrated his lockdown defense and sharpshooting skills.

The New York Knicks traveled to Golden State and defeated the Warriors 119–111, never trailing. some career-highs in scoring and made three-pointers, Deuce McBride provided Jalen Brunson some much-needed scoring assistance.

Several players surprised on offense besides McBride. Early field goals by Isaiah Hartenstein exposed Golden State’s double teams, and Donte DiVincenzo received payback for his subpar play in the team’s meeting in New York. Josh Hart, meanwhile, recorded his fifth triple-double of the year. With three wins from three games away from home, New York’s starting lineup all performed admirably.

Let’s focus on the performances that led to this victory from start to finish.

Starters for the Knicks wear small and look fantastic.
34 PTS (12/25 FG, 3/9 3PT, 7/8 FT), 7 AST, 4 REB, 1 STL, and 3 TO in 35 minutes for Jalen Brunson

With less points but more assists than he had in his previous two games combined, Jalen Brunson’s incredible run of play continued. When Brunson reached half-court, the Warriors frequently doubled him, meeting him well above the arc. The action got underway early thanks to New York’s MVP’s deft throws to Isaiah Hartenstein, who was going to be his screen.

After Golden State lost interest in challenging other teams to defeat them, Brunson resumed his dominant scoring ways. He finished at every range after slicing through the Warriors’ defenders. That’s a particularly remarkable accomplishment given how

Announcers noted that Steph Curry hadn’t rejoined the game as Golden State started to reduce the gap in the fourth quarter. Because they failed to disclose that Brunson had also done so, I rolled my eyes. Given how domineering Brunson appeared, I had no doubt that his check-in would have a greater effect than Steph Curry’s. Brunson receives a score of 4.5 out of 5 for maintaining his lead.

In 47 minutes, Miles McBride completed 29 points (9/13 FG, 6/9 3PT, 5/6 FT), 2 AST, 1 REB, 1 STL, and 1 TO.

It appeared that Miles “Deuce” McBride got the start with the intention of slowing down Steph Curry. However, he demonstrated that his floor spacing was equally crucial by scoring eight points in the first quarter. McBride created a work of art,

Deuce didn’t save his scoring for opportunities to catch and shoot. He made two three-pointers off the dribble and another midrange pull-up. McBride’s self-assurance in his jumper gave him more attacking options and made space for others. On kick-outs, teammates searched far and wide for Deuce, and he rewarded them handsomely.

Even though Steph Curry scored several points, McBride had a huge defensive influence. Up until a little over a minute in the fourth, he contested almost every shot Curry took. Deuce gave a remarkable performance deserving of a rating of 4.5 out of 5.

In 31 minutes, Donte DiVincenzo completed 18 PTS (7/13 FG, 4/8 3PT), 1 AST, 4 REB, and 1 STL.

From three, Donte DiVincenzo regained his mojo. It took him eight deep tries, but he appeared more patient.
