The Dallas Cowboys may land $45 million linebacker, Jordyn Brooks in free agency next week. Dallas enters this period with limited capital to spend for available weapons in the market that they may need. There are plenty of needs that the Cowboys must address such as their offensive line depth. However, they could look to hunt for wide receiver No. 2 to complement star CeeDee Lamb.

According to a speculative source, Brandin Cooks might be traded this upcoming offseason for draft picks. If so, they might try to fill the spot in the draft, but they might also sign a veteran for a single season to give Lamb some reinforcements. They would also have to improve the defensive line and running back positions. The linebacker position is the obvious weakness that most likely requires addressing.
To solve their problem, they might bring in Dallas native and former first-round selection Brooks. After losing Leighton Vander-Esch and DeMarvion Overshown to injuries, Dallas’ defense was already lacking. Due to a lack of options, the Cowboys were forced to substitute Safety Markquese Bell to fill the role in an emergency. By adding Brooks, the Cowboys could bolster the position, said ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
