All of the Super Eagles players have been exonerated of any misconduct during the AFCON 2023 competition by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). In interclub events, Nigerian clubs were likewise cleared of any misconduct.

They will play their next two CAF Inter Club matches behind closed doors after being found guilty. Additionally, Al Hilal SC was fined $15,000.
