Those close to the five-year-old in Alabama described her as a “precious, smart, and inquisitive child,” and authorities stated that she was discovered dead in a laundry hamper.
Khloe Teresa Williamson was the child’s name, according to the Trussville Police Department.

According to the authorities, the terrible event took place on Monday, November 13, shortly after 6:30 a.m.
Williamson was discovered by her relatives in a laundry basket inside the family’s home, according to the authorities.

When the five-year-old was discovered, Trussville Fire and Rescue took her right away to St. Vincent’s East.

Local publication The Trussville Tribune said that authorities attested to the fact that an autopsy turned up no evidence of trauma or foul play. To make a final decision in this case, police are awaiting the toxicology report, although they say the death looks to be an accident.

Superintendent Dr. Patrick Martin of Trussville City Schools said in a statement published on X that the youngster was a district teacher’s daughter.
“This student was a precious, smart and inquisitive child whose heartbreaking loss affects us all,” Martin stated. “We are sending the family our condolences and prayers on this very sad and unfortunate occasion. In the wake of this tragedy, we are setting up counsellors on-site for our staff and students.

“The people in Trussville are not just educators; they are a family. We are all touched by something like this, and in the days and weeks ahead, we will help the family process this devastating loss,” the statement read.
