They have recently been linked to a number of excellent managers, and according to a Football Insider story, Julen Lopetegui is eager to take over at the London club. The 57-year-old reportedly turned down the chance to play for Crystal Palace and would much rather move to West Ham.
It is unclear if West Ham is willing to give the Spaniard the opportunity to get the squad back on track. He has experience managing in the Premier League, having held the position with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Lopetegui has demonstrated his abilities in the past at teams like Sevilla. He is undoubtedly qualified for West Ham.
The Hammers were predicted to perform well in the league and contend for the Europa League trophy this season after winning the UEFA Europa Conference League the previous year. For Moyes and West Ham, things have not gone as planned.
It will be intriguing to see if the London team is willing to keep the Scottish boss on until the end of the season.
