Even if the Las Vegas Raiders are not playing, work is still being done. The Raiders are assessing 2024 NFL Draft possibilities in an effort to add youthful talent to their roster. In 2023, Las Vegas was barely outside the postseason picture; with a new squad, they hope to return in 2024. The Raiders will be prepared to welcome their next round of youthful talents to the team in April with a fresh regime and a vibrant enthusiasm across the fandom. Houston def may be one of those players.
Nelson Ceaser, a defensive lineman for Houston, might be one of such players. Caesar had a successful career with the Cougars and was selected to the 2023 First Team All-Big 12 roster. With 101 total stops, 27.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and 17 sacks at the end of his collegiate career, Ceaser was quite successful. He spent a week in Mobile, Alabama, and at the Senior Bowl, he raised his draft standing.
Ceaser is a tape watch unlike any other. At 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, he is a solid size for an edge rusher in the National Football League. But Ceaser isn’t limited to playing outside linebacker or edge rusher.

Throughout the season, he also started at inside linebacker for the Cougars and performed admirably. If he has to cover the middle of the field, his bulk does not slow him down. His best NFL projection is probably as a hand-in-the-dirt defensive end. Coming off the edge, Ceaser’s game is all about strength. After the snap, he overwhelms offensive linemen with his strength. He stabs at his opponent with efficiency thanks to his muscular hands.
