The 23-year-old, who was sold by Nottingham Forest last summer, led his new team to an amazing 9-2 victory last night.

In the summer, Nottingham Forest allowed Will Swan to join Mansfield Town, and yesterday night, the Stags scored several goals with him among them!

Mansfield defeated Harrogate 9-2 at One Call Stadium to demonstrate their League Two promotion credentials.

Mansfield Town thrashes Harrogate 9-2, led by Will Swan.
Although Mansfield’s victory at home wasn’t noteworthy, the incredible scoreline most definitely was.

Swan, a graduate of the Forest Academy, has been playing well lately, and last night he contributed to several goals even though he was left off the starting lineup.

With the score at 5-0 at the break, Swan came on as a substitute and helped himself to two goals in the second half.

At this point in his career, Nigel Clough seems like a decent fit as Swan searches for a permanent home.

Swan is proving his worth after a difficult start to the season—he has already scored four goals in his last four games.

Swan was dumped by Forest, but he’s now returned to form.
Swan has undoubtedly fulfilled his urge to leave Forest in order to further his own development as a gifted young man.

He seems assured playing under Clough’s tutelage, and he seems to have a talent for finding the back of the net.

Clough was eager to bring him back to Mansfield after he scored 11 goals for the Stags the previous season, when they just missed out on the play-offs.

After just two City Ground appearances with the first team, Swan was granted permission to depart Forest permanently in the summer and sign a permanent contract with the Stags.

Although it’s always wonderful to see Forest academy alums succeed after leaving the club, this one is especially noteworthy because Swan is attempting to assist Clough in earning another promotion.

This season, the Stags have a good chance of making it to League One.

It appears to be an exciting moment to be a Mansfield supporter, with Swan starting to shine after leaving Forest in the summer.
