“Scans Verify”: “Incredible” Star Suffers Serious Injury At Aston Villa

After a depressing loss to Manchester United over the weekend, Aston Villa was unable to reclaim their spot in the Premier League’s top 4, and now it appears that midfielder Boubacar Kamara has suffered yet another setback.

How Much Time Is Boubacar Kamara Most Likely To Miss?
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Kamara tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) against the Red Devils in the second half. As a result, he is anticipated to miss the whole second half of the 2023–24 campaign.

The 24-year-old injured his right knee, and preliminary tests revealed severe damage to the knee. Ornstein continues, “The club has scheduled additional scans, but the Frenchman will likely be sidelined for a five- to six-month period.”

It’s also said that the midfield player, who missed nine games for both club and country due to a knee ailment he had back in 2022, will probably need surgery to correct the issue.

Which Other Players Are Out of Action for Aston Villa Because of Injury?
Kamara is the third player for Unai Emery’s team to miss the entire 2023–24 season due to a serious knee injury. Tyrone Mings, the center back, and Emiliano Buendia, the midfielder, were also sidelined by the same injury earlier in the season.

Ezri Konsa, a defender, will also miss a month of play owing to a knee injury, as revealed by Unai Emery, who stated: “Ezri is injured.” He will not be available due to a sprained knee. I’m not sure, maybe three or four weeks.

Kamara has been a constant in Emery’s lineup this season and was praised as “incredible” by his midfield partner Douglas Luiz early in the year. The Villans will definitely feel Kamara’s departure. Although Kamara only missed four Premier League games this season due to suspension, he made 30 appearances for Villa this season and is now unlikely to make a comeback before the 2024–2025 season begins.
