Joe Burrow is regarded byc as “one of the best QBs in the league.”
And if you ask me, there isn’t anyone greater than him.
As the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs square battle in Sunday’s Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, fans throughout the league are getting ready for the big game.
Even though a large number of Cincinnati Bengals supporters will be watching, Joe Burrow’s injury halted yet another season and ultimately eliminated the Bengals from the postseason.
Burrow is still regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the game despite his history of injuries, and he has shown this every season when healthy. Burrow has extraordinary talent, which draws other excellent attacking players to the field to play with him. That should encourage Tee Higgins to return to the Queen City.
On Kay Adams’ podcast, Up & Adams, Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase recently discussed a recent post that claimed Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson were both superior to Burrow.
The date is January 14, 2012. We are in San Francisco at Candlestick Park. The 49ers need a touchdown with 14 seconds remaining, down three, and facing a third down to maintain their hopes of making the playoffs without having to go to OT. In the meantime, the Saints can draw a conclusion from this and move on to the NFC Championship Game. We need to look back in time to comprehend how we got here and to fully appreciate what this moment signifies.
“I think Joe (Burrow) is one of the league’s best quarterbacks; if you ask me, I can’t think of anyone better than him,” Higgins remarked.
This summer, Higgins will be able to sign free agents. If Higgins becomes a free agent this summer, he will have a choice of teams to sign with given his ties to the Titans and the abundance of teams vying for a top receiver; nevertheless, it appears likely that he will acquire the franchise tag.
Will his desire to play with one of the league’s top quarterbacks and his bond with Burrow prevail in the decision-making process? All we can do is hope.
