For the first time, Joe Worrall has discussed his move from Nottingham Forest to Besiktas.
The defender left the Reds to spend the remainder of the season on loan at Besiktas. In the summer, the Turkish club has the option to finalize the transfer.
“I think it was the right time to try something new,” he continued. I’m fortunate to have played a lot of games with the club considering I was born and raised in Nottingham. I can’t wait to perform for a large club like Besiktas.
He might make his Besiktas debut against Kayserispor in their upcoming league game. “Determination, strength, and leadership,” he continued. Those, I believe, are the primary contributions I would provide to the football team. I’m a warrior on the field and I put in a lot of work.
Joe Worrall has completed a loan move to Turkish Süper Lig side Beşiktaş, according to a statement released by Forest on Monday. The defender will spend the rest of the season on loan in Turkey, with the option to extend the deal permanently at the end of the current campaign.
“Club captain Worrall, an academy alumnus who joined the team in 2011, has played 226 games for The Reds in the main team since then.
The 27-year-old made 30 Premier League matches the previous year as Forest won promotion in their first season back in the top division. This season, he has made nine appearances.
“We hope Joe has a successful remainder of the campaign.”
