PFF lists the top Cowboys players from Week 17.

The Cowboys have now finished their season with a perfect record at home, an impressive feat that was by no means easy to accomplish. The Lions made it hard on them too, as Dallas scraped by 20-19. They needed big games from their best players and got that in spades. Here are the highest graded players from the game, according to Pro Football Focus

The offensive players were quite visible.
The offence played a fantastic game against the Lions, but the final score didn’t exactly represent that, especially considering the enormous expectations that have been placed on the Cowboys at home. The Texas Coast was in action on Saturday, despite a few inopportune turnovers that stopped a larger offensive explosion. It wasn’t flawless.

CeeDee Lamb had a night to remember. He caught 13 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown, breaking Michael Irvin’s franchise records for single season receptions and yards. Lamb had a phenomenal 124 yards after the catch, and nearly half of his catches went for either a first down or touchdown.

Sneakily, Brandin Cooks had a good day. Out of eight targets, he grabbed five for sixty yards and the game-winning score. Cooks was utilised as a deep threat a lot in this game, as evidenced by the fact that he led the team in average depth of target (22.3 yards) by a considerable margin. Cooks was only used five yards after the catch. Additionally, all but one of his receptions resulted in a first down.

In this game, Dak Prescott was effective, finishing with 345 yards and two touchdowns on 68.4% of his throws. Despite getting pressed on 34.1% of his dropbacks, Prescott still had a tonne of other amazing throws, including his 92-yard bomb to Lamb that will go down in history. Prescott was a major factor in the Cowboys’ victory in this game, despite the fact that he did throw an interception, which lowers his player grade overall.

It is uncommon for the Cowboys to go two weeks without producing a defensive takeaway; their last instance of doing so occurred during Weeks 8–9 of the 2021 campaign. This Sunday, that changed as the Cowboys successfully stopped Jared Goff twice and played solid defence against this potent offence.
