McFarland has only appeared in three games this season after spending some time on the Reserve/Injured List early in the year.
The Steelers selected McFarland in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. With 42 carries for 146 career yards, he has participated in 17 games. For 87 yards, he has 11 receptions as well.
At Maryland, McFarland was a talented running back during his collegiate career. Sadly, injuries ended his Pittsburgh career. Injured reserve at the beginning of the 2021 season was McFarland. The majority of this season was spent on injured reserve.
