Bell, weighing in at 6-foot-1 and 305 pounds, is a rookie out of Kennesaw State University who was a seventh-round pick of the Chicago Bears in the 2023 NFL Draft. He spent eight regular-season games on the Bears’ practice squad before being signed to Atlanta’s active roster on November 1st.

Bell played in two games for the Falcons, totaling two solo tackles. He was waived by them on Tuesday.

This move comes after the Bengals lost DJ Reader for the season due to a torn quad muscle, so it makes sense they’d add another big body in the middle of the defensive line.

Bell joins Josh Tupou, Zach Carter, and Jay Tufele as defensive tackles currently on the Bengals’ 53-man roster, while Domenique Davis is still on the practice squad.
