Buffalo Bills coach gives a harsh analysis of the play that cost the team the win.

The Buffalo Bills lost their third straight NFL game against the Denver Broncos, and their coach, Sean McDermott, bemoaned the errors his team committed.

They put in a dismal performance, but they were still ahead by one point going into the last quarter at Bills Stadium. The Denver kicker Wil Lutz missed a 41-yard field goal that appeared to be the final point the Bills needed to win.

But the Bills were fined for fielding too many players, which gave the Broncos a second chance. There were twelve defenders on the field when the ball was snapped, which led to a five-yard penalty and another opportunity for a field goal for Lutz, who converted both times.

Following the game, Bills coach McDermott was extremely irate as the Broncos secured their third straight victory with the help of the successful kick, winning 24–22. When asked if it was one of the most mysterious losses he had ever suffered, he responded, “No, no, no.”

This week, we rehearsed switching from dime to field goal block two or three times. In the end, we failed to carry it out. Thus, it is unacceptable. The play was called for a penalty because it seemed like the Bills had an extra lineman on the field the entire time.

Regarding which players were to leave the action and whether the play was called the same way on the game’s final two field goal attempts, McDermott could not provide any details.

was not clear. The only person on the field for Lutz’s missed kick—but not for the winning one—was defensive end Leonard Floyd.

“I have no idea. In response to the Bills’ costly mistakes, captain Tyler Matakevich remarked, “We just, we messed it up, and unfortunately, it cost us.” “In those circumstances, you cannot defeat yourself. You need to confirm that we are locked in and that everyone is aware of the situation. We, that is, practiced it.

We simply didn’t carry it out, and that is really, really annoying. Some games will always be nasty;

all you have to do is figure out a way to win, and sadly, we just couldn’t pull it out.” The Bills dropped their fifth game of the season, continuing their awful run of luck. They have dropped four out of the last six games and three of the last four.

Against the Broncos, they committed a number of offensive mistakes, making

four turnovers, which is the same amount as they have all season long. Josh Allen, the quarterback, accounted for three of them with two interceptions and one fumble. With 11 interceptions, he now leads the NFL and has one in six straight games.
