After a dismal draw against Lesotho, Super Eagles coach Peseiro remarks, “It was bad luck.”
The coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, said that terrible luck was the cause of Nigeria’s 1-1 tie with the Lesotho Crocodiles.

Peseiro himself attributed the draw to ill luck in remarks made following the game.
“I am sad, of course, disappointed by the outcome, but my team did everything we could,” he stated.
“We controlled the ball for 76% of the time compared to 24% for the opposition, who only had two opportunities to score and managed to score a goal.
“We had numerous opportunities to score. It was unlucky.
Ifeanyi Udeze, a former Super Eagle defender, expressed his anger at the “unacceptable” outcome in the meantime.
“We couldn’t defeat Lesotho in this, our first World Cup qualifier in front of home supporters.
This was not a match versus Ghana, the Ivory Coast, or Cameroon. It was a defeat.

The awful thing is that there are no repercussions for these national embarrassments, sef!On Sunday, Nigeria and Zimbabwe will play their second qualifying match. The Super Eagles were unable to earn a spot in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
