Buffalo Bills coach delivers a harsh assessment of the moment that cost his team the victory.

Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott bemoaned his team’s mistakes against the Denver Broncos as they fell for the third time in four games.

Despite an ineffective performance, they managed to take a one-point lead into the final minutes at Bills Stadium. Denver kicker Wil Lutz missed a 41-yard field goal that appeared to be enough to seal the Bills’ victory.

When the Bills were penalised for having too many players on the pitch, the Broncos were given a second chance. There were 12 defenders on the field when the ball was snapped, resulting in a five-yard penalty and another field goal attempt for Lutz, who made no mistake the second time around.

The successful kick helped the Broncos secure a 24-22 victory, their third in a row, leaving Bills coach McDermott frustrated after the game. “Absolutely, absolutely,” he replied when asked if it was one of the most perplexing losses he had ever suffered.

“We practiced the substitution from dime to field goal block two or three times this week.” At the end of the day, we did not carry it out. As a result, it’s inexcusable.” The penalty was called because the Bills appeared to have an extra lineman on the field for the entire play.

McDermott did not elaborate on which players were supposed to leave the action, and it was unclear whether the same play was called on the game’s final field goal attempt. However, only defensive end Leonard Floyd was on the field for Lutz’s missed kick but not for the winning one.

“I have no idea.” When asked about the Bills’ costly mistakes, captain Tyler Matakevich said, “We just messed it up, and unfortunately, it cost us.” “In those situations, you can’t beat yourself. You must ensure that we are all on the same page and that everyone is aware of what is going on. We practiced it, after all.

“We just didn’t execute it, which is extremely frustrating.” There are some games that will be ugly at times, but you just have to find a way to win them, and unfortunately, we just didn’t come out.” The Bills’ miserable season continues as they lose their fifth game of the season. They’ve lost three of their last four games, as well as four of their last six.
