The Foundation issues a warning about imposters trying to get donations.

File – Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in Cincinnati, where practice is being held at the NFL football training facility of the Cincinnati Bengals, shows quarterback Joe Burrow (9) participating in a drill. In the midst of talks for a long-term deal with the team that will likely make him one of the highest paid players in the NFL, Burrow reported to training camp.

Cincinnati — C Foundation warned on Thursday night that people posing as impersonators are trying to con people out of their money.

According to the foundation, there are impersonators of the organisation as well as Joe Burrow.

“We want to clarify that neither Joe Burrow nor the Joe Burrow Foundation will ever ask for money through direct messages, emails, or any other platform,” the organisation stated.

The foundation stated that it only ever takes donations via its official website or by buying genuine goods, such as t-shirts and other gear, from Whereimfrom.com.

In addition to advising people to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity to the foundation, the Joe Burrow Foundation stated that it is “working diligently to address this issue”.

“Your support means the world to us, and we are committed to using your generosity to make a positive impact in our community,” the organisation stated. “Together, we can continue to change lives for the better!”

The Joe Burrow Foundation most recently raised $100,000 at the October 2023 “Dine for 9” fundraiser.

During the initiative, over 300 restaurants from Athens, Cincinnati, and Baton Rouge took part. On September 9, the companies gave the foundation 9% of their sales revenue. Additionally, supporters of the event contributed “$9 for 9” to the foundation.

Tyreek Hill of Miami is also probably in the running, but Jefferson and Chase are undoubtedly the first receivers that come to mind when discussing the best receiver in the league. Who, though, is ahead?

Despite having played in 14 more games than Chase, according to Pro Football Focus, Jefferson has a slight advantage over Chase in terms of yards per reception (15 to 14), receptions per game (6.5 to 6.1), receiving yards per game (96.8 to 85.5), yards per route run (2.6 to 2.2), passer rating when targeted (113.3 to 111.6), catch percentage (70.4 to 69.1%), and yards per target (10.2 to 9.2).

The fourth-year wide receiver also has significant advantages over Chase in contested catch percentage (51.5% to 40.7%) and 100-yard games (27 to 14).
Nevertheless, according to PFF, Chase has surpassed Jefferson in a few other categories as well. These include touchdowns (29 to 28), multi-touchdown games (six to five), yards after the catch per reception (7.8 to 4.8), forced missed tackles (57 to 38), and 200-yard games (two to one).

Although Chase has a justifiably high opinion of himself, the statistics appear to favour Jefferson in this instance. Maybe the two elite wide receivers will settle this argument on the pitch when the Bengals play the Vikings on Saturday.
