The Pittsburgh Steelers are having a terrible season right now. Any remaining season zeal has been drained after losing back-to-back home games to the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots, two clubs with two wins.

The Pens have dropped five of six games and four of the last six. Since November 14, they have just once surpassed three goals. The power play hasn’t scored since November 11 and is currently experiencing a 0-for-37 slump. Only two teams in the Eastern Conference have less points than the Ottawa Senators (22 points) and Columbus Blue Jackets (23 points), who both have 25 points.

Pittsburgh must get ready for some tough times, according to Mark Madden of 105.9 The X and TribLive during this week’s “Madden Monday” podcast.

“Pittsburgh does not possess an innate right to consistently field competitive teams. I’ve lived through times when there were no competitive teams. And I’m used to it if that’s the direction we’re going,” Madden remarked. This is merely the fandom’s cycle. You were never a fan in the first place if you can’t accept it.

In terms of the Steelers, Madden believes that missing the playoffs would be the greatest outcome.

“People believe everything is OK and they’re not that far away if they do make the playoffs,” Madden remarked. And how far away are they? They are so removed from anything that may be somewhat important. Far removed from being a competent coach and from even having a squad that is halfway decent, Mike Tomlin is both.

Madden isn’t completely discounting the Penguins’ chances of making the playoffs. But things appear bleak.

Perhaps the Penguins will come back and still qualify for the postseason. There are a tonne of games to be played, in fact,” Madden remarked. However, it’s evident that the Penguins have been losing ground for some time. And I absolutely detest the idea that “they win the cup when they fire the coach!” Terminate the coach! Don’t get me wrong; I believe that Mike Sullivan is finishing his time here this year. And it’s not as a result of his poor coaching. It’s because there is a simple

The Steelers should sit Kenny Pickett down for the rest of the season miscommunication. And with what will soon be a new bunch, it’s time for a new coach. Kyle, the general manager, didn’t bring in Dubas in order to maximise the performance of the core three. He entered to

“Well, firing Tomlin and Sullivan is not the same thing. I believe that Sullivan was and likely still is an excellent coach. But in a sport where coaches are more likely to hit an expiry date than not, he’s simply grown stale in this environment, according to Madden. “In my opinion, Tomlin was never a successful coach. Looking back at his career path, you’re probably going to conclude that this individual did a lot of work with the players, leaders, and cultures of other people, and then everything went horribly wrong. For numerous reasons, he will still be inducted into the Hall of Fame. However, he is not worthy of even close to that. To enter Canton, he ought to need to purchase a ticket.
