The Broncos are getting ready to give back this holiday season, starting the club’s “Season of Giving” with a special member giveaway.
In the run-up to Christmas, players plan to lend their support to a number of charity in Brisbane, Queensland
Over the course of the next two weeks, they will attend the Starlight Foundation Christmas Party, assemble hampers for families in need for Communify in Bardon, and make their yearly trip to the Ronald McDonald House to deliver gifts to children and their families.
Five people were chosen to take part, and each person was given a player to represent them in the game.
Deine Mariner emerged victorious, winning the Grand Prize for “his member,” L. Kann, and planning a delivery for Christmas.
Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam participant members (J. McLachlan, J. Flower) each won two Inner Sanctum passes, which provide members with an exclusive “behind the scenes” experience on gameday. Meanwhile, Brendan Piakura and Fletcher Baker each won a $200 Team Store voucher for two lucky members (S. Dickinson, P. Obstoy).
Reece Walsh remarked, “One of my favourite things about being back in Brissy is all our Broncos fans—they’re unreal, and this was a fun one to be part of.”
Giving back and feeling thankful for our loved ones, including the larger Broncos family, is what Christmas is all about.
These days, it’s a huge one, and we value each and every person joining us on this adventure.
