Bengals vs. Colts Injury Report: Jonah Williams, DJ Turner, and Tyler Boyd limited

There are some exits that are more difficult than others, and the Cincinnati Bengals’ fan base suffered greatly when Hayden Hurst was lost.

Prior to joining the Carolina Panthers in the offseason, Hurst was a fan favourite and a key component of the team’s offensive last season.

Regretfully, Hurst suffered a major brain injury on November 9th against the Chicago Bears and is currently dealing with it. Hurst’s father claims that he has a diagnosis of post-traumatic amnesia (PTA).

When Hurst will be back on the field is unknown, but he hasn’t played since that game in Chicago, in which he ended with two receptions for 14 yards. He has 18 receptions and 184 receiving yards through nine games this season.

Hurst ended last season in Cincinnati with 414 receiving yards and 52 receptions. The 30-year-old was formerly a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Hurst as he looks to recover from this serious situation.

There are some exits that are more difficult than others, and the Cincinnati Bengals’ fan base suffered greatly when Hayden Hurst was lost.

Due to their short week, the Cincinnati Bengals held a simple walkthrough on Wednesday. However, they returned to full practice on Thursday, and two more players were listed as injured.

A hamstring strain that developed during practice kept DJ Turner from playing as much. The good news for Turner is that, although only practicing on a walkthrough on Wednesday due to a hamstring issue, on Thursday he fully practiced. I hope Turner will experience the same thing.

After not being mentioned in the report on Wednesday, Tyler Boyd was limited because of an ankle injury.

Jonah Williams’ back injury kept him out of action for a second day in a row.

The Indianapolis Colts played on Thursday pretty much the same way they played on Wednesday. Jonathan Taylor is probably out on Sunday because he hasn’t been practicing.

Ameer Speed was limited because of a hip problem, and Julius Brents made a limited comeback to practise. It should be mentioned that Tyquan Lewis and DeForest Buckner had limited practice on Thursday after having a full practice on Wednesday.

Watch for Friday’s injury report, when hopefully Boyd and Turner will be cleared to play.

For a variety of reasons, fans adore Sam Hubbard, the defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals. Hubbard is undoubtedly “Cincinnati’s Own,” having grown up in Cincinnati, witnessed games from the stands, and made legendary plays on the field during the most important occasions.

In a recent appearance on NFL Films, Hubbard discussed his journey to the NFL, growing up as a Bengals fan, playing at Ohio State, and a host of other topics in their “100 Yards of Memories” segment.
