It is now just a matter of days before one of Tennessee’s top prospects announces his college choice. The Vols are one of the six teams still in the running for five-star Class of 2024 offensive tackle Jordan Seaton of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Seaton announced on Monday night via posts on his social media sites that he will be making his commitment known on Thursday.

Six finalists will be considered by the 6-foot-5, 287-pound Seaton: Maryland, Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee. He recently concluded an official visit to Ohio State on Monday.

In addition, he has made formal trips to Tennessee, Alabama, Colorado, and Florida. The weekend of November 18, the Vols invited him on an official visit and to their home game against Georgia. The weekend of September 30, he travelled to Knoxville for the first time to see Tennessee defeat South Carolina.

More than thirty colleges have offered Seaton scholarships, including all six of the universities he is seriously considering. He is a five-

outstanding prospect who is rated as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2024 class and the No. 15 overall player in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. Additionally, 247Sports, which ranks him as the No. 2 offensive tackle and No. 30 overall player in the 2024 class, has him pegged as a five-star prospect.

More than two weeks ago, after his formal visit to Tennessee, Seaton remained mum on the Vols’ precise ranking among his top teams. However, after his second visit to Knoxville in less than two months, he stated they were “in a good spot” and that they had “a real shot” at getting him.

Having seen Tennessee defeat South Carolina 41–20 almost two months prior, he stated he was excited to show his parents the whole Vols programme on this official visit to Knoxville. The atmosphere of the game day inside Neyland Stadium, as well as the information he received from Tennessee coach Josh Heupel’s staff, left him impressed once more.
