WR Jermaine Burton of Alabama had a personal stake in the SEC Championship game. He was a transfer from Georgia, and he was determined to end the winning streak of his old team and defeat them. Burton went to the end zone where the Georgia students were located and gave them a heartbreaking gesture before being told to return to the field to celebrate with the rest of the team. Burton only had two receptions for 28 yards, but one of those was for a touchdown on a nice pass from Jalen Milroe. The Crimson Tide won handily, and they are now waiting on the College Football Playoff committee’s decision.
