Crystal Palace have been dealt another injury blow ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against West Ham United, with Rob Holding now also “ruled out”.

On his official Premier Injuries X account on December 1st, injury expert Ben Dinnery revealed that the former Arsenal defender is now out with a suspected ankle injury, with his status “ruled out” for Sunday’s game.

Palace are already missing several key players for Sunday’s game, with youngster Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Dean Henderson both “ruled out,” as well as key figures Eberechi Eze and Cheick Doucoure both set to miss out.

No game in the Premier League is easy, especially against a team like Crystal Palace, who always enters games with a surprise up their sleeve.

Nonetheless, the latest injury news from Selhurst Park will give the Hammers a boost ahead of the game this weekend.

David Moyes will have been relieved that his team managed to salvage three points from a losing position against Burnley at Turf Moor last weekend, their second consecutive Premier League win after going five games without one.

And also against Backa Topola in the Europa League on Thursday, games in which the Hammers were far from their best, and any sort of performance against Roy Hodgson’s men could leave them with just one point, let alone three.

The Irons will be back on home soil looking for their third straight win and will be buoyed by the news that Eberechi Eze will miss Sunday’s game with an ankle injury, as his match-winning abilities could cause problems for any team in the English Premier League.

However, West Ham United are not guaranteed the three points because they must contend with Michael Olise, who is just as decisive and effective as Eze in the Palace team.

Moyes and his team can’t afford to take their foot off the gas in this game, as Roy Hodgson and his Palace side are looking for a crucial win that has eluded them since the beginning of November.
