Inter Milan and Juventus are both interested in signing Liverpool’s ace in 2024. Alcantara, Thiago
Inter Milan and Juventus are considering a potential Bosman move for Liverpool’s midfield maestro, Thiago Alcantara, as his contract with the Reds expires in preparation for the summer transfer window in 2024.
The Spanish midfielder has shown his enormous talent on the pitch since his arrival at Anfield in 2020. However, a succession of ailments have hampered his ability to play on a regular basis, limiting his contributions to Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
While the Reds’ manager holds the Spanish international in high respect and would prefer to keep him, no contract extension talks have yet taken place. Liverpool, notorious for their readiness to let go of aging players, said goodbye to numerous veteran midfielders in the summer transfer window of 2023. Time will tell if Thiago will soon be added to that list.

Thiago Alcantara is a world-class player who can turn on the heat on his day, despite being 32 years old and fighting chronic ailments. Furthermore, with the Reds bringing in several young midfield talents as part of their overhaul, Thiago has taken on more of a mentoring role as a result of his success and expertise on the field.
However, with no new contract on the horizon, the 32-year-old’s future remains uncertain. This has piqued the interest of Inter Milan and Juventus, according to Italian newspaper Calciomercato, who are considering a move for him if he becomes a free agent in the summer of 2024.
Getting Thiago would be a significant coup for either Inter Milan or Juventus. Thiago’s career could be extended in Serie A, a league noted for its slower tempo and fewer physical demands than the Premier League. Furthermore, both Inter and Juventus will support him in his desire to add additional trophies to his collection.

If Thiago is released, Wataru Endo will take over as the Reds’ senior midfielder. The Japanese captain is a fighter and a leader, and he is unquestionably a great influence on the team. Thiago, on the other hand, works in a different stratosphere and has a track record of success at major teams such as Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Furthermore, the 32-year-old understands what it means to wear the Liverpool jersey. While his injuries limit his availability on the field, his influence extends far beyond the games, and the club would be foolish to ignore the leadership void. For us, it makes sense.
