Trippier has been a constant in the Newcastle team since the start of last season, missing only one game – the 1-0 Carabao Cup win over Manchester City in September. England’s right-back has seven assists in 15 games this season in all competitions.
The 33-year-old was Newcastle’s first acquisition under Eddie Howe, joining for £12 million from Atletico Madrid in January 2022. Trippier has since appeared in 68 games for the club, scoring three goals.
