In recent weeks, Tammy Abraham has been linked with a move away from Roma.
Calciomercato’s report.According to the report, Premier League clubs Aston Villa, West Ham United, and Fulham are all interested in signing the 26-year-old striker.
The chance to return to the Premier League could be appealing to the former Chelsea striker, although it remains to be seen whether Aston Villa and West Ham can agree on a fee with Roma.
The Italian club recruited Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea, and the Belgian has been in excellent form. They could look to sign him on a permanent basis at the conclusion of the season, in which case Abraham would have to leave the club in order to play frequently.
Aston Villa have been unduly reliant on Ollie Watkins for goals and could benefit from the addition of another striker. Abraham has previously played on loan for Aston Villa and is familiar with the club. The chance to return to the West Midlands club could be enticing, and he could share the goal-scoring duty with Watkins.
Similarly, West Ham must improve their final-third quality and depth. They will need to find a long-term replacement for Michail Antonio. Abraham would be a good acquisition for both clubs, and they have the financial resources to make it happen.
It remains to be known where the 26-year-old will wind up. He needs to join a club where he will get plenty of first-team action, which clubs like Aston Villa and West Ham should be able to give.
