As the Gas prepare for the 2024–2025 season opener against Northampton Town, Isaac Hutchinson is sure that Bristol Rovers can compete with the best teams in League One.
The Pirates, who finished in fifteenth place the previous season, will be looking to improve after hosting the Cobblers at The Memorial Stadium later today.
Hutchinson declared, “I’m very confident that we can have a successful season.” “I believe we can compete with teams like Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City.” For whatever reason, we are all in the same league, and from our perspective, the playing field is level.
“We’re going to keep working hard and traveling to these locations believing that we can win games.”
Hutchinson, who joined Rovers on a three-year contract from League Two side Walsall after contributing twelve goals and eleven assists for the Saddlers in the previous campaign, was the first of the team’s thirteen summer additions.
After joining Rovers, the 24-year-old adjusted in fast and said that it helped since many of his new teammates were in a similar situation to him.
“I’m finding it enjoyable. He thought, “The staff and all the boys have been class.” “I believe that everyone coming together helps. It’s been fantastic because, in my opinion, the team is coming together as a whole, not just a few individuals attempting to fit in.
“Every day, we come together here. You get to know everyone; our trip away helped a lot just by spending so much time together.”
