Leicester City is currently searching for fresh talent to support Steve Cooper’s team after a number of key attacking players left the club this summer.

The Foxes are looking for guys who can play forward.
Although Leicester returned to the Premier League at the first attempt last season, the Foxes will do so without several of the players that helped them get there.

Kelechi Iheanacho, who decided to end his stint at the King Power when his contract ended at the end of last month, is the major player Leicester will be missing. It appears that the Nigerian striker, who is currently a free agent, will be playing football for Sevilla in the upcoming season.

Tom Cannon, another striker, is rumored to be leaving Leicester on loan to return to the second division. The Irishman is reportedly headed to West Bromwich Albion, where the Baggies are trying to replace the departed Brandon-Thomas Asante.

The Foxes place a great value on attacking capabilities, and they have recently been linked to a bid for Arsenal star Reiss Nelson, who is currently out of favor. According to a report published by Fabrizio Romano last week, negotiations had reportedly begun between Cooper’s team and the winger’s initial loan provider with the potential to buy out the player later.

Although signing Nelson would help the Foxes attack more, it seems that the team is also competing to sign a new center forward for the King Power this summer.

Leicester will compete for the French striker
The Leicester Mercury later confirmed what the French media had initially reported, stating that the Foxes had initiated the signing process for Lens striker Elye Wahi. According to the source, Leicester will compete with West Ham and Chelsea for the services of the 21-year-old striker, along with other Premier League teams.
