Red Bull inks historic contract

Red Bull and precise performance sportswear company Castore have inked a record-breaking gear agreement worth over $200 million ahead of this weekend’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The Milton Keynes-based team’s partnership with Castore, which started at the beginning of the previous season, is being extended with the largest agreement of its kind in Formula One history.

Christian Horner, the CEO and principal of Red Bull Team, commented on the agreement, saying: “We knew we had found a partner whose commitment to innovation and advanced engineering matched our own when we started working with Castore last year. Our trust in them to deliver performance improvement has only increased over the past 12 months, which has led to this record-breaking new agreement.”

“We’re also pleased that Castore’s faith in the team has extended to our activities in F1 Academy. That too is a ground-breaking initiative and having Castore on board to help our drivers in that series is a huge bonus.”

Red Bull’s extended partnership with Castore will see the Manchester-based brand not only feature on the Red Bull sportswear worn by reigning World Champion Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, but also for the Red Bull Academy Programme for the 2024 F1 Academy season. F1 Academy is the all-female series, in which Red Bull has three drivers, Emely De Heus and sisters Amna and Hamda Al-Qubaisi. Castore will feature on each drivers racewear. “We’re thrilled to have expanded our partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing,” said Castore co-founder Tom Beahon.

“The length of this agreement demonstrates the trust they have in Castore to deliver products that help optimise the performance of the whole team and speaks to our commitment to Oracle Red Bull Racing’s goals to continue their charge to more wins and titles.”
