Kool-Aid McKinstry, a cornerback for Alabama, enters the 2024 NFL draft.
The Crimson Tide will have another elite defensive talent up for grabs in 2023 when Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry files to enter the NFL Draft.
As a Crimson Tide starter for three years running, McKinstry has solidified his position as one of
the nation’s best defensive backs over the past two seasons. McKinstry has improved as a defender over the course of two seasons, with 22 pass breakups and one interception. Given his physical attributes, he has the potential to be an all-pro player at the next level.
McKinstry is still a contender to be the first CB off the board even though he still needs to improve on a few fundamentals and maybe add some play strength. With his exceptional versatility and high ceiling, McKinstry should be selected in the top half of the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
