Amad Diallo to Sunderland: Update on Man Utd transfer future with Fulham, Everton and Southampton circling
Several clubs are reportedly interested in signing Amad Diallo on loan from Manchester United during the upcoming January transfer window, and the club is “willing” to allow the player to depart.
The 21-year-old made an impression when on loan at Sunderland the previous season, scoring 14 goals in the Championship. The Black Cats were among the teams monitoring the player’s status during the summer. That was prior to Amad missing the beginning of this season due to a protracted knee ailment he suffered during the preseason.
However, Amad has been included in Ivory Coast’s preliminary roster for the African Cup of Nations, which is scheduled to begin in January, though it is yet unknown if he will play. Even yet, it’s said that Sunderland is still keen to sign the offensive midfield player if a deal can be reached.
However, other clubs have reportedly expressed interest in Amad as a result of recent claims over the Christmas break. Premier League teams Everton, Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Wolves are all reportedly eager on a trade alongside Championship team Southampton.
Amad might make his debut Erik ten Hag squad since incurring the injury during preseason when Manchester United plays Aston Villa in the Premier League on Boxing Day. The manager of Unuted stated prior to the game: “Hopefully, Raphael Varane will make a comeback. We’ll see how far Amad Diallo goes as for the others. Now, he has been training for two weeks. They are most likely the ones who may be able to go back.
