The Annual Tranmere Rovers Memorial Game: Paying Tribute to the Lost.
Come celebrate with us on Saturday, February 3rd as we honour those who have passed away in 2023 during the Crewe Alexandra game.
The Tranmere Rovers cordially ask supporters to take part in the yearly memorial game on Saturday, February 3, 2023, which is devoted to honouring those who have passed away. The matchup with Crewe Alexandra will be more than just a game; it will be a chance for our neighbourhood to unite and pay tribute to and honour the lives of our loved ones.
Supporters are urged to leave flowers or other mementos at the Johnny King Statue to help create a moving mosaic of harmony and memory.
A memorial service will be held on the pitch before to kickoff, giving players and fans alike a chance to pause and reflect.
There will be a memorial programme with touching words and pictures from the friends and family of the deceased.
Fans are urged to submit a 70-word note and a photo to be featured in the commemorative programme. By Monday, January 29th, please submit your submissions to marketing@tranmererovers.co.uk.
