As part of a deeply felt tradition, Tranmere Rovers cordially invite supporters to take part in the annual memorial game on Saturday, February 3rd, which is devoted to honouring those we have lost in 2023. The game against Crewe Alexandra will serve as more than just a football match; it will be a chance for our community to unite and pay tribute to the lives of our loved ones. Supporters are encouraged to leave flowers or tokens at the Johnny King Statue, forming a striking visual representation of solidarity and remembrance.

A memorial service will be held on the pitch before to kickoff, giving players and fans alike a chance to pause and reflect.

There will be a memorial programme with touching words and pictures from the friends and family of the deceased.
