The Brooklyn Nets Just Launched Its Own Fashion Brand
On Wednesday, the Brooklyn Nets unveiled their first line of own label apparel. Known as Berō, which is appropriately pronounced as “borough,” its initial release features a variety of clothing items such as a polo shirt, printed cardigan, soccer jersey, and chic chore coat. Naturally, the new collection of athletic clothing is meant for daily use as well as for cheering on your favourite team.
Including Berō’s Washed Full-Zip Chore Coat, of course. The black item, which comes in sizes ranging from extra small to 2XL, is a flexible choice for outerwear that you can simply fit into your wardrobe. It’s not really loud, like many chore coats, but the heavyweight cotton jacket stands out because to its lighter-colored collar and front carpenter pockets. The vibrant finishing touch is the leather basketball patch on its chest.
Speaking of amazing pieces to layer, the brand’s Basketball Club Cardigan and Brooklyn Quarter Zip sweatshirt are sure to turn heads. The former, which is made of cotton and was made in America, features embroidered designs that evoke vintage letterman jackets, like a basketball on the right sleeve and a Chenille patch shaped like a “B” on the left chest area.
The collection’s standout piece is the two-toned Basketball Club Cardigan, which features a chic jacquard-herringbone pattern. Along with the drop’s recognisable leather basketball patch, it features two pockets on the front of its midweight style, a ribbed collar, cuffs, and a waistband. Choosing a machine-washable knit for winter styling is undoubtedly a daring move.
The Brooklyn Soccer Jersey, the Basketball Club Polo, the Basketball Club Pullover Hoodie, the Basketball Club Tee, and a printed bucket hat are among the additional goods from Berō’s initial drop. Each features at least one detail highlighting Brooklyn or the team’s iconic “Basketball Club” text, and is made entirely of cotton for comfort.
The Nets established Berō in order to diversify their product line beyond the customary jerseys and other items made by N.B.A. licensees. Under the brand, it also intends to release designer partnerships and exclusive limited-edition collections. Berō’s initial collection can be purchased for a price ranging from $70 to $250. Additionally, you can purchase the collection right now from the team’s website or the Brooklyn Home Company-designed standalone store located inside Barclays Centre, home of the Nets.
