Buffalo Bills bold predictions for Week 15 vs. Cowboys
The Buffalo Bills of 2023 might be the NFL’s hardest club to predict. The Bills were the overwhelming favourites to win the AFC East before the beginning of the season and appeared to be a serious contender in the conference, right up there with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs, the reigning Super Bowl champions. But they are gazing in from the outside of the playoff structure as they prepare for their Week 15 matchup with the Cowboys.
The Bills have been incredibly inconsistent rather than assuming the role of a legitimate contender, which they have been since the 2019 season. They enter this home game against the resurgent Dallas Cowboys with a 7-6 record and have fallen short
Even though Russell Wilson may not be fully recovered, he still possesses some power. And on Monday night, the Buffalo Bills gave Wilson and the Denver Broncos a stunning, strange victory on the road.
The most crucial play that Wilson made in the fourth quarter was tossing the ball downfield to Jerry Jeudy straight up in the air. Wilson lofted a deep pass against an all-out blitz, but it was slightly underthrown, and defensive back Taron Johnson was called for pass interference, which resulted in a 28-yard gain. After that play, the Broncos were in field goal position.
After a few errors early in the kicking game, the Broncos were not in a position to make the winning kick, but that put them in position. Wil Lutz also failed to deliver
The Broncos are a new team. They started the season 1-5 and have won three in a row since then. The defense, which had a horribly embarrassing performance giving up 70 points to the Miami Dolphins early this season, shut out the Bills for most of the first half as part of its shocking transformation. It seemed weird when the Broncos didn’t trade anyone at the deadline, but now we see why.
The Bills are going the other way. They made several mistakes to let the Broncos stay in the game, but it still seemed like Buffalo would pull out a win when they took a 22-21 lead on a Josh Allen touchdown run inside of the two-minute warning. But the 2023 Bills are finding ways to lose, and ended the night with a 5-5 record. They deserved to lose on Monday night, and have earned that .500 record.
