In order to assemble a top running back tandem for the 2025 cycle, Georgia assistant coach Dell McGee will now look to pair Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove tailback Bo Walker with another ball carrier. On Sunday night, Philadelphia Imhotep Institute 2025 running back Jabree Wallace-Coleman announced his decommitment from the Dawgs.

Wallace-Coleman announced via his X.com avatar, “I will be de-committing and opening my recruitment back up.”

Wallace-Coleman turned down offers from Penn State, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and twelve other schools when he first committed to Georgia in April. A crucial part of the college football season is nearly upon us.

Monday, December 4 marks the date on which the transfer portal will officially open, at which point teams can contact players looking for new homes. The portal is open through Jan. 2, giving schools and players nearly a full month to determine what moves make the most sense for 2024.

It should also be noted that players on teams participating in the College Football Playoff or another particularly late bowl game could enter the portal without penalty in mid-January.
