Andrew Thomas and Darren Waller did not practise for the Giants.
The New York Giants practiced again on Wednesday in preparation for their Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale.\
Following their disastrous first week, which included several concerning injuries, all eyes were on left tackle Andrew Thomas (hamstring) and his backup, Matt Peart.
Unfortunately, Thomas did not practise. The good news is that head coach Brian Daboll has stated that the left tackle is “day to day,” while Thomas has stated that the injury is manageable.
Another piece of bad news is that practice squad cornerback Amani Oruwariye was injured on Wednesday and had to be taken to a local hospital after being immobilised and carted off the pitch.
The Giants’ injury report for Wednesday is as follows:
OL did not take part. TE Darren Waller (hamstring/rest), Andrew Thomas (hamstring).
K Graham Gano (ankle), WR Wan’Dale Robinson (knee), CB Deonte Banks (calf), LB Cam Brown (ankle), CB Cor’Dale Flott (hamstring), LB Azeez Ojulari (hamstring), S Gervarrius Owens (hamstring), OL Matt Peart (elbow) are all limited participants.
