The 2023 Heisman Trophy winner will be revealed on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. QBs Jayden Daniels of LSU, Bo Nix of Oregon, Michael Penix Jr. of Washington, and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. of Ohio State are the finalists.
Given that they enter their home game against their NFC North opponent with a 5-7 record, it
might only be a matter of time. They would need to overcome five other teams in order to secure a postseason position, since they are currently three games behind the Browns, Colts, and Texans, the conference’s current Wild Card teams.
If the Raiders allow Jefferson to run free in the secondary, he could have a huge game in his return. However, if they can slow down the Minnesota passing game, the Raiders could get their 6th win of the season.
Aidan O’Connell must be steady and throw at least 2 TD passes
The Raiders made major changes earlier in the season when they fired head coach c and replaced him with Antonio Pierce. The new coach’s first big move was to bench quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and replace him with rookie Aidan O’Connell.
From a realistic standpoint, the likelihood appears quite slim. The Raiders are not required to play their final five games in one sitting, though. Their only option is to play them one at a time, starting with the Vikings. The Raiders will next play the Chargers at home, visit Kansas City, Indianapolis, and finally close off the season at home against the Broncos.
The Las Vegas defence faces a lot of challenges when playing Minnesota. The Vikings are not only well-rested after their bye week, but they also have outstanding wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who is making a comeback from a hamstring injury.
