Justin Joly, a transfer from UConn, schedules an OV with Tennessee.
Regarding the annual transfer portal, Tennessee has already begun to work on it. They have already made offers to a number of players and have a certain prospect scheduled to visit. Justin Joly, a transfer tight end from UConn, is that prospect. Joly, the tight end with the highest ranking on the portal, has already received numerous offers and expressed interest in attending a number of universities, including Tennessee, Indiana, North Carolina State, and others. Joly is a sophomore right now, standing at 6-3 and 232 pounds. Prior to competing at UConn this season, he played baseball at Iona Prep High School. He amassed 22 touchdowns and almost 1900 yards in a high school career.
Joly had 56 catches for 578 yards and two touchdowns during the season. Joly finished with 89 yards after having eight catches and almost 100 yards against the Volunteers defence earlier in the season. The gifted tight end also had two touchdowns and eighteen receptions for 250 yards in his rookie campaign.
He might have a significant effect on Tennessee because McCallan Castles and Jacob Warren will be leaving the Volunteers because they are ineligible. Ethan Davis, who didn’t play much during the season but had a great performance in the spring game, is currently the centre of attention in the tight end room. Following Davis are current Volunteer tight end Emmanuel Okoye and incoming commit Jonathan Echols. You have seen the Volunteers use at least two bodies during games over the previous two seasons, so they could definitely use one or two more in that tight end room.
The first full week of the contact period leading up to Early Signing Day began on Monday, after Vols coach Josh Heupel and his staff dispersed across the nation following their weekend-long visits with some of Tennessee’s top targets and commitments. The Vols began searching the transfer market and checking in on targets from coast to coast in the 2024 class and future classes after opening the transfer portal to all underclassmen.
Just as you would have expected, I suppose. He was also dissatisfied with himself. He’s also been carrying a lot lately. To begin with, this semester has been the most challenging academically for him since he arrived. And then we forget that before we left for Maui, he had to make the lengthy journey back to Uruguay. But as you can see, he handles everything like a pro. Furthermore, he wasn’t content himself, which is to be expected of him.
Yes, things are different. On the other hand, I see it as allowing other guys to get some minutes that we all know we’ll need at some point. Of course, though, we prefer to have everyone. Not everyone has performed to their fullest yet. as well as everyone who has experienced the various injuries we have dealt with. But, once more, December is only now beginning. When you consider it, our schedule has undoubtedly been very demanding, but we’re also disappointed because we thought we should be unbeaten but aren’t. You are who you are as a result. Having said that, tomorrow night will be a true test since we go out every night. This is a big week because Illinois is arriving and George Mason is here.
