The Pied Piper! “The Greatest Leader in Dallas Cowboy History,” Dak Prescott MVP QB Jerry Jones’s owner, Raves
It’s common to take the MVP debate too literally. Some will argue that a team doesn’t need a specific passer because the offensive line, defence, or coaching are strong enough to find some success on their own, even at the expense of excellent quarterbacks on strong teams. The Dallas Cowboys, without a doubt, needed quarterback Dak Prescott on Thursday. With his back to the wall and the Seattle Seahawks battling from behind, Prescott made every play that was required of him. He was amazing, to put it plainly. Like a prime Jacob deGrom, he was dotting tight-window fastballs and making frequent plays in and out of structure. When he wasn’t displaying his deep ball, he was avoiding or persevering through pressure and facilitating movement.
Mike McCarthy, the head coach, called plays as though he had the best quarterback in the league under centre. Prescott had the right look. Like the rest of the Dallas supporters, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was more than happy to chime in on the compliments given to Prescott on Monday. Jones declared, “We’ve never had a better leader.” “Dak Prescott is the ‘Pied Piper’ that works best for everyone.” Not only am I referring to the team, but also to the coaches. He is the team’s “Pied Piper.” Most notably, after Dallas took the lead in the fourth quarter and increased it to 41-35 on its last offensive drive, Prescott rallied his team to make the game-winning stop. After a few plays, Seattle’s edge rusher Micah Parsons would break through unhindered.
Turn me the (bleep) up!” Dak yelled to the defence, adding a few words to his encouraging words, “I trust y’all.” We went and completed our work. It’s now your turn to give something back. And this will come to an end… Win the fucking game! “I’m like, ‘Damn, that (bleep) made me blush a little bit!'” Parsons said, referring to his quarterback’s foul-mouthed pep talk. “That’s always exciting, that energy he brings, that fire.”That right there is my quarterback. This quarterback is the one who will lead us to the Super Bowl victory.
The Cowboys’ ability to challenge the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC East lead and maintain their Jerry World winning streak were both in question. Prescott performed admirably in front of the home crowd. Prescott ticked off another item on his MVP contender checklist with his mercilessly productive day. He willed his team to victory over a skilled team vying for a postseason berth. To me, that sounds like an MVP. To his owner, it sounds like one as well. Jones’ satisfaction will probably be maintained if the team wins in Week 14, when the Eagles visit the city for a Sunday Night Football game.
