Phillies Keep Their Eye on the Outfield Before the Winter Meetings
The Philadelphia Phillies have already taken care of their top priority for this offseason heading into the Winter Meetings. They are playing with house money during these meetings because they signed Aaron Nola to a lucrative seven-year, $172 million contract, while other teams are looking to upgrade. However, the Phillies are still seeking to add players. They may focus on a different position, but they have been connected to other starting pitchers in free agency and the trade market.
Dave Dombrowski, the team’s president of baseball operations, made some intriguing remarks regarding their young outfielder Johan Rojas earlier in the offseason. “If he can’t contribute offensively, he’ll have to drop out (to the minors) and keep improving. does not imply a lack of love for him.
